It is usually written in high-level programming languages that are easier and more efficient for humans to use (closer to natural language) than machine language. High-level languages are compiled or interpreted into machine language object code. Software may also be written in an assembly language, essentially, a mnemonic representation of a machine language using a natural language alphabet. The term "software" was first used in this sense by John W. Tukey in 1958.[2] In computer science and software engineering, computer software is all computer programs. The concept of reading different sequences of instructions into the memory of a device to control computations was invented by Charles Babbage as part of his difference engine. Types
Practical computer systems divide software systems into three major classes: system software, programming software and application software, although the distinction is arbitrary, and often blurred.System software helps run the computer hardware and computer system. It includes operating systems, device drivers, diagnostic tools, servers, windowing systems, utilities and more. The purpose of systems software is to insulate the applications programmer as much as possible from the details of the particular computer complex being used, especially memory and other hardware features, and such accessory devices as communications, printers, readers, displays, keyboards, etc.Programming software usually provides tools to assist a programmer in writing computer programs and software using different programming languages in a more convenient way. The tools include text editors, compilers, interpreters, linkers, debuggers, and so on. Ethic and Rights for software users

Being a new part of society, the idea of what rights users of software should have is not very developed. Some, such as the free software community, believe that software users should be free to modify and redistribute the software they use. They argue that these rights are necessary so that each individual can control their computer, and so that everyone can cooperate, if they choose, to work together as a community and control the direction that software progresses in. Others believe that software authors should have the power to say what rights the user will get.

The former philosophy is somewhat derived from the "hacker ethic" that was common in the 60s and 70s.

Program and library

A program may not be sufficiently complete for execution by a computer. In particular, it may require additional software from a software library in order to be complete. Such a library may include software components used by stand-alone programs, but which cannot work on their own. Rasulullah S.A.W pernah bersabda bahawa di dalam syurga itu terbahagi dalam kamar-kamar. Dindingnya tembus pandang dengan hiasan di dalamnya yang sangat menyenangkan. Di dalamnya pula terdapat pemandangan yang tidak pernah dilihat di dunia dan terdapat satu hiburan yang tidak pernah dirasakan manusia di dunia. "Untuk siapa kamar-kamar itu wahai Rasulullah S.A.W?" tanya para sahabat."Untuk orang yang mengucapkan dan menyemarakkan salam, untuk mereka yang memberikan makan kepada yang memerlukan, dan untuk mereka yang membiasakan puasa serta solat di waktu malam saat manusia lelap dalam mimpinya."
"Siapa yang bertemu temannya lalu memberi salam, dengan begitu ia bererti telah menyemarakkan salam. Mereka yang memberi makan kepada ahli dan keluarganya sampai berkecukupan, dengan begitu bererti termasuk orang-orang yang membiasakan selalu berpuasa. Mereka yang solat Isya' dan Subuh secara berjemaah, dengan begitu bererti termasuk orang yang solat malam di saat orang-orang sedang tidur lelap." Begitu Nabi menjelaskan sabdanya kepada sahabatnya.

10 JENIS SOLAT YANG TIDAK DITERIMA OLEH ALLAH S.W.T

Rasulullah S.A.W. telah bersabda yang bermaksud : "Sesiapa yang memelihara solat, maka solat itu sebagai cahaya baginya, petunjuk dan jalan selamat dan barangsiapa yang tidak memelihara solat, maka sesungguhnya solat itu tidak menjadi cahaya, dan tidak juga menjadi petunjuk dan jalan selamat baginya." (Tabyinul Mahaarim)Rasulullah S.A.W telah bersabda bahawa : "10 orang solatnya tidak diterima oleh Allah S.W.T, antaranya :
1. Orang lelaki yang solat sendirian tanpa membaca sesuatu.2. Orang lelaki yang mengerjakan solat tetapi tidak mengeluarkan zakat.3. Orang lelaki yang menjadi imam, padahal orang yang menjadi makmum membencinya.4. Orang lelaki yang melarikan diri.5. Orang lelaki yang minum arak tanpa mahu meninggalkannya (Taubat).6. Orang perempuan yang suaminya marah kepadanya.7. Orang perempuan yang mengerjakan solat tanpa memakai tudung.8. Imam atau pemimpin yang sombong dan zalim menganiaya.
9. Orang-orang yang suka makan riba'.10. Orang yang solatnya tidak dapat menahannya dari melakukan perbuatan yang keji dan mungkar."
Sabda Rasulullah S.A.W yang bermaksud : "Barang siapa yang solatnya itu tidak dapat menahannya dari melakukan perbuatan keji dan mungkar, maka sesungguhnya solatnya itu hanya menambahkan kemurkaan Allah S.W.T dan jauh dari Allah." Hassan r.a berkata : "Kalau solat kamu itu tidak dapat menahan kamu dari melakukan perbuatan mungkar dan keji, maka sesungguhnya kamu dianggap orang yang tidak mengerjakan solat. Dan pada hari kiamat nanti solatmu itu akan dilemparkan semula ke arah mukamu seperti satu bungkusan kain tebal yang buruk."

ALLAH S.W.T. MENOLAK 1 DOA DARI 3 DOA RASULULLAH S.A.W

'Amir bin Said dari bapanya berkata bahawa : "Satu hari Rasulullah S.A.W telah datang dari daerah berbukit. Apabila Rasulullah S.A.W sampai di masjid Bani Mu'awiyah lalu beliau masuk ke dalam masjid dan menunaikan solat dua rakaat. Maka kami pun turut solat bersama dengan Rasulullah S.A.W.Kemudian Rasulullah S.A.W berdoa dengan doa yang agak panjang kepada Allah S.W.T :Setelah selesai beliau berdoa maka Rasulullah S.A.W pun berpaling kepada kami lalu bersabda yang bermaksud : "Aku telah bermohon kepada Allah S.W.T tiga perkara, dalam tiga perkara itu cuma dia memperkenankan dua perkara sahaja dan satu lagi ditolak.
1. Aku telah bermohon kepada Allah S.W.T supaya ia tidak membinasakan umatku dengan musim susah yang berpanjangan. Permohonanku ini diperkenankan oleh Allah S.W.T.2. Aku telah bermohon kepada Allah S.W.T supaya umatku ini jangan dibinasakan dengan bencana tenggelam (seperti banjir besar yang telah melanda umat Nabi Nuh s.a). Permohonanku ini telah diperkenankan oleh Allah S.W.T.3. Aku telah bermohon kepada Allah S.W.T supaya umatku tidak dibinasakan kerana pergaduhan sesama mereka (peperangan, pergaduhan antara sesama Islam). Tetapi permohonanku telah tidak diperkenankan (telah ditolak).
Apa yang kita lihat hari ini ialah negara-negara Islam sendiri bergaduh antara satu sama lain, hari ini orang Islam bergaduh sesama sendiri, orang kafir menepuk tangan dari belakang, apakah ini cantik kita melihatnya ?

AWAN MENGIKUTI ORANG YANG BERTAUBAT

Diriwayatkan bahawa seorang tukang jagal terpesona kepada budak tetangganya. Suatu saat gadis itu mendapatkan tugas menyelesaikan urusan keluarganya di desa lain. Si tukang jagal lalu mengikutinya dari belakang sampai akhirnya berhasil menemukannya. Si tukang jagal lalu memanggil gadis itu dan mengajaknya menikmati kesempatan langka dan indah itu. Tetapi gadis itu menjawab, "Jangan lakukan. Meskipun sangat mencintaimu, aku sangat takut kepada Allah."Mendengar jawapan itu, si tukang jagal merasa dunia berputar. Kerana menyesal dan sedar hatinya gementar, tenggoroknya kering dan hatinya semakin berdebar, dia lalu berkata, "Kau takut kepada Allah sedangkan aku tidak."
Dia pulang sambil bertaubat. Di jalan ia diserang haus dan nyaris mati. Is kemudian bertemu seorang soleh. Mereka berjalan bersama. Mereka melihat gumpalan awan berjalan menaungi mereka berdua sampai mereka masuk ke sebuah desa. Mereka berdua yakin bahawa awan itu untuk orang yang soleh. Kemudian mereka berpisah di desa tersebut. Awan itu ternyata condong dan terus menaungi si tukang jagal itu sampai dia tiba di rumahnya. Orang soleh tadi hairan melihat kenyataan ini. Dia lalu mengikuti tukang jagal tadi lantas bertanya kepadanya dan dijawabnya juga di tempat itu. Maka laki-laki soleh itu berkata, "Janganlah hairan terhadap apa yang kau lihat, kerana orang yang bertaubat kepada Allah itu berada di suatu tempat yang tak seorang pun berada di situ."

KISAH BUMI DAN LANGIT

Adapun terjadinya peristiwa Isra dan Mikraj adalah kerana bumi merasa bangga dengan langit. Berkata dia kepada langit, "Hai langit, aku lebih baik dari kamu kerana Allah S.W.T. telah menghiaskan aku dengan berbagai-bagai negara, beberapa laut, sungai-sungai, tanam-anaman, beberapa gunung dan lain-lain."Berkata langit, "Hai bumi, aku juga lebih elok dari kamu kerana matahari, bulan, bintang-bintang, beberapa falah, buruj, 'arasy, kursi dan syurga ada padaku."Berkata bumi, "Hai langit, ditempatku ada rumah yang dikunjungi dan untuk bertawaf para nabi, para utusan dan arwah para wali dan solihin (orang-orang yang baik)."

Bumi berkata lagi, "Hai langit, sesungguhnya pemimpin para nabi dan utusan bahkan sebagai penutup para nabi dan kekasih Allah seru sekalian alam, seutama-utamanya segala yang wujud serta kepadanya penghormatan yang paling sempurna itu tinggal di tempatku. Dan dia menjalankan syari'atnya juga di tempatku."Langit tidak dapat berkata apa-apa, apabila bumi berkata demikian. Langit mendiamkan diri dan dia mengadap Allah S.W.T dengan berkata, "Ya Allah, Engkau telah mengabulkan permintaan orang yang tertimpa bahaya, apabila mereka berdoa kepada Engkau. Aku tidak dapat menjawab soalan bumi, oleh itu aku minta kepada-Mu ya Allah supaya Muhammad Engkau dinaikkan kepadaku (langit) sehingga aku menjadi mulia dengan kebagusannya dan berbangga."

Lalu Allah S.W.T mengabulkan permintaan langit, kemudian Allah S.W.T memberi wahyu kepada Jibrail A.S pada malam tanggal 27 Rejab, "Janganlah engkau (Jibrail) bertasbih pada malam ini dan engkau 'Izrail jangan engkau mencabut nyawa pada malam ini."Jibrail A.S. bertanya, " Ya Allah, apakah kiamat telah sampai?"Allah S.W.T berfirman, maksudnya, "Tidak, wahai Jibrail. Tetapi pergilah engkau ke Syurga dan ambillah buraq dan terus pergi kepada Muhammad dengan buraq itu."Kemudian Jibrail A.S. pun pergi dan dia melihat 40,000 buraq sedang bersenang-lenang di taman Syurga dan di wajah masing-masing terdapat nama Muhammad. Di antara 40,000 buraq itu, Jibrail A.S. terpandang pada seekor buraq yang sedang menangis bercucuran air matanya. Jibrail A.S. menghampiri buraq itu lalu bertanya, "Mengapa engkau menangis, ya buraq?"

Berkata buraq, "Ya Jibril, sesungguhnya aku telah mendengar nama Muhammad sejak 40 tahun, maka pemilik nama itu telah tertanam dalam hatiku dan aku sesudah itu menjadi rindu kepadanya dan aku tidak mahu makan dan minum lagi. Aku laksana dibakar oleh api kerinduan."Berkata Jibrail A.S., "Aku akan menyampaikan engkau kepada orang yang engkau rindukan itu."Kemudian Jibrail A.S. memakaikan pelana dan kekang kepada buraq itu dan membawanya kepada Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. Wallahu'alam.
Buraq yang diceritakan inilah yang membawa Rasulullah S.A.W dalam perjalanan Israkdan Mikraj.

TUJUH MACAM PAHALA YANG DAPAT DINIKMATINYA SELEPAS MATINYA

Dari Anas r.a. berkata bahawa ada tujuh macam pahala yang dapat diterima seseorang itu selepas matinya.

1. Sesiapa yang mendirikan masjid maka ia tetap pahalanya selagi masjid itu digunakan oleh orang untuk beramal ibadat di dalamnya.
2. Sesiapa yang mengalirkan air sungai selagi ada orang yang minum daripadanya.
3. Sesiapa yang menulis mushaf ia akan mendapat pahala selagi ada orang yang membacanya.
4. Orang yang menggali perigi selagi ada orang yang menggunakannya.
5. Sesiapa yang menanam tanam-tanaman selagi ada yang memakannya baik dari manusia atau burung.
6. Mereka yang mengajarkan ilmu yang berguna selama ia diamalkan oleh orang yang mempelajarinya.
7. Orang yang meninggalkan anak yang soleh yang mana ianya selalu mendoakan kedua orang tuanya dan beristighfar baginya
8. yakni anak yang selalu diajari ilmu Al-Qur'an maka orang yang mengajarnya akan mendapat pahala selagi anak itu mengamalkan ajaran-ajarannya tanpa mengurangi pahala anak itu sendiri.

Abu Hurairah r.a. berkata, Rasulullah S.A.W. telah bersabda : "Apabila telah mati anak Adam itu, maka terhentilah amalnya melainkan tiga macam :

1. Sedekah yang berjalan terus (Sedekah Amal Jariah)
2. Ilmu yang berguna dan diamalkan.
3. Anak yang soleh yang mendoakan baik baginya.
